Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

God Bless!

Thank you all for your prayers.

I collected him and brought him home today and will take him back in on Monday for the start of his Chemotherapy.

The Hickman Line is in and being honest, it's not very comfortable - but he'll get used to it

At the moment he is exhausted and sleeping [ and his post dinner coffee is going cold frown ]

Another Sunday I can't go to DL - I'll be near him the whole time he is with me.

Anhelyna,

We share a common problem attending on Sunday's , though some days I can slip out for the 7:00am Mass while Debbie is sleep

Strange thought, on the other side of the pond you collect people and not pick them up ?

Yes - I had to think what you meant there James smile - yes we do - though pick up is also used. Confusion is the game here.

My problem is transport - the train into Glasgow doesn't run till 9am IIRC and I have to get the 9 am coach to Edinburgh or I can't get there in time.

sorry for the off topic here

Update

Raymond went back into hospital as planned today [ it was a nice quiet weekend at home eating his favourite foods etc biggrin ]

Blood was taken as soon as we arrived [ nice and easy now thanks to the Hickman line smile ] and I waited with him till the Consultant saw him.

Chemo will start this afternoon .

I have just had an SMS from him [ I said I would leave now so they could set up the Chemo and would phone tomorrow to see how he was in the morning and go in in the afternoon ] which says that his bloods are very low and he has been moved to a single room for his protection.

Chemo is due to last for 10 days - running 24 hours a day and then he will have a period of recovery still in hospital and then further Chemo.

Please keep those prayers going for him

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

Please hear our prayers on behalf of our sister in Christ, Anhelyna and her husband Raymond...Please be him every step of the way as he undergoes treatment for his illness -- alleviate any and all physical suffering, and bring him health, so together they may praise your All Holy and Merciful Name!

Humbly through the intercessions of your All Holy Mother, the Virgin Mary who appeared in Lourdes,
Alice
