Glory to Jesus Christ!

Thought I would pass on the word about an upcoming exhibition on the life of the last Emperor/King of Austria-Hungary, Karl. He is being considered for beatification by the Catholic Church. The Saint Vincent Gallery and the Emperor Karl League of Prayers for Peace Among Nations, U.S.A./Canada are presenting the exhibit titled: "Karl I: The Peace Emperor, The Last Habsburg Emperor of Austria-Hungary" It will run September 14 through
December 8, 2002

The exhibition will include paintings, statues, photographs, personal objects and historical films, documents and memorabilia. It is being done in cooperation with members of the Habsburg Family, the Mnze sterreich, the Filmarchiv Austria, and the Magyar Nemzeti Fimarchvum. Many of the items have never been on display outside of Europe.

There will be an inaugural lecture by H.I.R.H. Archduke Rudolph of Austria followed by a preview reception of the exhibition on Thursday, September 12, 2002, 8 p.m. at Kennedy Hall Auditorium. This is free and open to the public, however, reservations are required.
