You've got to watch these two evangelization videos created by a priest at St. Peter's Chaldean Catholic church in California.
The first series is made up of 11 episodes:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuIbhoMBEt4
The second series consists of only 3 videos at the moment and features a young man who wants to be a saint. The first one is a bit dry, but it gets better.very inspiring.
Ung, the previous suggestion is probably better, but one of the joe everyman episodes has a brief shot of mass and one of the characters complains that mass is an hour long. Confession procedures are shown also. I was surprised by how latin they are.
I've notice that some Eastern Orthodox do not like using the term "Mass", the Oriental Orthodox and Church of the East use the term interchangeably with "Holy Qurbono", "Eucharist", "Raza", "Divine Liturgy".
Ung, they do call it mass . From what was shown on the videos Chaldean Catholics appear to be very latin except for the "long" mass and a glimpse of an icon or two.
I would agree with Michael, that "Mass" (sometimes "Holy Mass") is not terribly uncommon among Oriental Catholics, some Oriental Orthodox, and the Chaldean and Assyrian Churches.

"One day all our ethnic traits ... will have disappeared. Time itself is seeing to this. And so we can not think of our communities as ethnic parishes, ... unless we wish to assure the death of our community."
That's true, but I think if you watch it you'll see what I mean. So how do you tell if a church is eastern even if all the externals are latin and vice versa?
