This comes after statements last month by Azerbaijan's president Ilham Aliyev, in which he spoke openly of his country being ready to wage war to regain the region http://www.rferl.org/featuresarticle/2008/2/8D7097C7-ED64-45A8-B24B-6AE1679CC9EA.html and another in January in which he actually stated that Armenians are only guests in there own capitol city of Yerevan http://www.turkishweekly.net/news.php?id=51541 and that the Armenians should not have been given the city.
