Two corrections:
Blessed Leonid's feast is March 7.
The first image is not of Blessed Leonid, but of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky.

Actually the first photo looks like it would be Metropolitan Sheptyc'kyj. What is the source of the photo?
Ung
ps What is the black outer cowl, is it something used by the Basilian Order?

The first image is not of Blessed Leonid, but of Metropolitan Andrei Sheptytsky. I don't know why I mistyped November! Can you tell I was without coffee at all today? I had been working on something with a November dating before that... did not transition... http://www.santiebeati.it/dettaglio/92946 Was the source of the photos... I had never seen a photo of Federov before, did not put two and two together that the website erred on that one - good call.

The last photo should probably be the one to be posted as the thread title, and not a picture of Metropolitan Andrey. These are also important photos, one of him in riassa and the other in his hierarchal vestments [ Linked Image] [ Linked Image] FDRLB

That photograph of Metropolitan Andrew is relatively early - I'm not sure of the date but it would have been sometime between his elevation to Metropolitan and the Holy Land Pilgrimage. It may well have been his formal photograph as the new Metropolitan.
