Well, funnily enough, this man has passion, fire, and is a revolutionary of a priest. The heart of this man is good, but well, there are certain things that he could be advised on. I'd certainly endorse this guy if he were a bit more orthodox... No doubt about it. You gotta admit, we need guys like these in the priesthood as well.

Personally, I get the anti-Farakhan sentiment since he has made antisemitic statements.. but what's the hubbub with Jeremiah Wright? Fr. Corapi's said the same things, just without the dashiki or the scream.

And what about McCain's embrace of anti-Catholic Pastor Hagee?

Fr. Corapi hasn't said the same thing, the problem with Jeremiah Wright is that his theology, his view on American culture, is rooted in racial stereotypes. His language reinforces destructive perceptions on race. If he kept his comments to morality and to American culture at large, then I would believe he speaks like Fr. Corapi.
