Friends, Many people are being led astray by the New Age religions. Celebrities (like Oprah, Tom Cruise) should use their status to lead others to Christ and the Apostolic Churches, not to hell via the New Age movement. Many people are into the New Age movement on Miami Beach. Please pray for them! Oprah [ youtube.com]

"Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more."
They spoil their talents.

Here's a good one. I once sent a link of Bishop Hilarion's online catechism to a Protestant friend:
"Something that New Age people will find heartening. It speaks their language very well, sums up what they're looking for, and better yet, its Christian."
My oh my. I have been mixing with too many Protestants haven't i?

Maybe on one of her shows for the "Big Give" a team will use their talents to bring Oprah back from the new age to the A.D. Christian era?

I think i remember that there was a Catholic Priest on one of her shows that might have been one of the recipients of the "Oprah's Big Give" please don't quote me on that one.

TO be qaccurate, Tom Cruise is not part of the New Age movement, but is instead a Scientologist.
The two are not the same, even if thye have some superficial similarities.

With all of their money they can afford to pay someone to research the history of their denomination and clearly see where it originated, and why it is what it is today.
also I am not sure but heard its a way of meeting important people in Hollywood (Scientology)

I don't think Operah is a Scientologyist, at leats I'd not heard that she is.
However, Scientology is no a Denomination, rather it is its own religion, and quiet remo ed from Christinaity I will add.
And one doens't need muh money to research it, the web has all the informaion you'd need and verified . The hisoty is too new and many livign witnesses hav also come forward and ae available.
So, its a deliberate blindness to its origins and natre that captivates the mind of scientologists, or the desire for power, both eprsonal and temporall.

No... My friend thought that Orthodoxy was indeed the New Age within Christianity... He meant it in a good way actually because he found it to make more spiritual sense than anything else. I'm praying that he'll be Orthodox. My other friend who studied Kallistos Ware is now Catholic. Haha. Makes sense no?
