Killing someone to point out that killing is wrong????? Somewhat goes to the basic flaw of the old argument of the ends justifying the means.

Personally, I'm registered American Independent Party, and have been for years. The first item on their platform is the sanctity of human life, including the unborn. Both Republicans and Democrats leave that issue up to the individual politician. And the individual politicians of those parties muddle it with their various definitions of when life begins or during what trimester abortion becomes unacceptable. I agree with Anthony that we Christians need to unite and vow never to vote a pro-abortion candidate into office.

Yes, there are other issues to consider. And when we have more than one strongly pro-life candidate to choose from, I will use those issues to determine which pro-life candidate I vote for!

You miss my point: I didn't kill Hitler to "point out" that killing is wrong; I killed him to prevent him from killing another person.

I don't see where the end justifying the means is at all relevant. The issue is the defense of another human being.

Tammy,
I am almost converted. Just think I might join that there party American Independant Party.
Maybe if all prolifers joined it would send a "BIG" message to the other two.

But what other positions do the hold?

Here is their web page, with their platform.
American Independent Party (California) [aipca.org]
I can't say I agree with everything on their platform, but I don't agree with everything on any party's platform!

As I recall, the American Independent Party is the California wing of the Constitution Party (formerly the US Taxpayers Party).

For the Constitution Party's platform, go their website. I think it's www.constitutionparty.com. [constitutionparty.com.]

Though he's not a member, think Pat Buchanan (not necessarily a bad thing).

Yes, it is. Here is the page for Diane Templin [dianetemplin.com] , the AIP candidate in the recall election. If you scroll down a little, she has reprinted the entire platform for the AIP for 2002-2004. It's quite lengthy, but interesting. Some of these items I highly doubt will ever happen, no matter who's in office (like repealing the federal income tax - in our dreams, right?!). But on other issues, they have some really good ideas here.

Looks like it is between Arnold and Davis!

Arnold told Hannity about his upbringing in the Catholic Church and stated clearly that he prays and believes in prayer.
