Kudos to the CNEWA for their support of Greek Orthodox in need. If you belong to the GOA, please consider emailing your parish pastor about this matter - If 30 parishes found 15 families to donate $33.33 each, this would be funded by monday. I knew a priest who worked with CNEWA - he always said their administration was honest and transparent, and they did a good job of efficiently supporting the folks they took on as projects... and frequently stepped in where help was needed most, even if the Christians they were helping were not Catholic.

$15,000 it is a lot of money for one person, but pocket change for a large enough group. Please help them if you can, and pray for the Christians of the Middle East.
