Please remember in your prayers a friend of mine and colleague, Ernest. We worked together last week, he developed congestive heart failure over the weekend, and reposed last evening.
Please also remember his wife, Marjorie, who fell and broke her hip as she left his room at the hospital last evening. A railing in the hallway broke loose, she broke her hip and shattered her wrist. She is being operated on today.
Both these folks are in their 80s.
With the souls of the righteous, give rest, O Savior, to the soul of Your servant departed, Ernest, in a place of brightness, a place of green pastures, a place of repose, from whence all sickness, sorrow, and sighing have fled away, and where the sight of Your Face enlightens and gladdens and sanctifies that life of Yours which is lived by the saints whom You have gathered from all the ages. Grant him Your Heavenly Kingdom and a portion in Your ineffable and eternal blessings and a share in Your unending life. AMEN.
Bless, Master, Lord Jesus Christ Our True God, the hands of the surgeons who repair the broken body of Your handmaid, Marjorie. Guide them to make the correct decisions in helping You to restore her to health. Through the prayers of the Mother of God, Lord, hear us. AMEN.

. . . Marjorie . . . is being operated on today. Update Please pray for Marjorie. She didn't have surgery because it is feared at her age she won't make it. So she's lying in a bed full of pain medication, knows no one, and her future is up in the air.

Dear me - this is very very sad.
Prayers for Marjorie that her pain be eased , the pain of her injuries and the pain of losing her husband.
Prayers that she will be given strength to cope with all this suffering.

Thanks for all your prayers. Margie had her surgery and has emerged.
Thank You, Lord, for all the good things You pour out so abundantly on us Your servants and especially for Your mercy for Margie.
