My brothers and sisters,

I just came back from confessing my sin to Jesus and receiving His forgiveness in the sacrament of Reconciliation (I am a Latin Catholic). Lately I have been struggling with a grave sin addiction that began a long time ago.

Thankfully, through Christ's work in my life, the addiction is losing its power. Something my priest pointed out to me today.

However this morning I chose to commit the sin again. I know have been forgiven for this relapse in the confessional, and I have repented of the sin, making an affirmation to follow Christ even more closely than before. I don't want to fall away from Him again!

In any case, I ask that you would pray for me brothers and sisters. Pray for me that the next time I am tempted I may holdfast to Jesus Christ, to His love and promises.

Thanks in advance!

God let your mercy and grace fall, for you know the desires of his heart.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Prayers for our brother Antonius, that the Lord will hear his prayers, and deliver him from the particular sin that besets him...that in the Risen Christ, all demonic temptation and influence will be conquered in His Name and in His Holy Resurrection! AMEN!

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
