HOCNA's pretty liberal compared to the "Genuine Orthodox Church in America" http://www.gocamerica.org/directory.shtml

and this wonderful site: http://www.trueorthodoxy.org/heretics_world_orthodoxy_moscow.shtml

Ah, schismatics always know best!

Ah, I see you have found the websites of Greggy of Colorado, Bulgaria and that portion of the Milky Way not contaminated by the heretical Klingons.

Sometimes the term schismatic does not go far enough. Perhaps a better adjective might be found in the DSM-IV.

However, here in Southern California there are intermarriages between HOCNA members and SSPX members. I cannot fathom that, but it is happening. The couples struggle about the marriage ceremony and how to raise their children as both groups are very strict. A few family members visit each other churches for major feast days.

I am trying to decide if I would want to be invited to those family gatherings for Holidays or if I would not want to be.

Am I alone in thinking that only a marriage between a really devout Mormon and a really devout Jehovah's Witness could compete?

I would think that the newlyweds would quickly form a new cult that could be even more dangerous. Shades of Waco, Texas.

Yeah, really. And then toss in a Muslim and you might have an intergalactic battle with all the fireworks.
