Just imagine what would happen if Christians were found treating the Qu'uran that way!

Shlomo Abun Serge,

I agree with you, but where is the outrage by the "Christian" Zionists. How about, even our Church. The way Christians are treated in Israel is just a step above how we are treated in many Islamic nations.

Shlomo Abun Serge,

I was not implying you, and I apologize if you thought that I was. I was talking about the "Christian" Protestants that are willing to through their co-religious (who happen to be mostly Orthodox and Catholic) under the bus, so Armagedeon will occur.

What I find interesting is the fact that the leader of the group admits to "collecting" the New Testaments, but denies he had any part in the burning:
Quote
News accounts in Israel have quoted Uzi Aharon, the deputy mayor of Or-Yehuda, as saying he organized students who burned several hundred copies of the New Testament. The deputy mayor gave interviews to Israeli radio and television stations after word of the incident surfaced about two weeks ago.

Soon he was talking with Russian, Italian and French television stations, "explaining to their highly offended audiences back home how he had not meant for the Bibles to be burned, and trying to undo the damage caused by the news (and photographs) of Jews burning New Testaments," The Jerusalem Post reported.

Aharon told CNN on Wednesday that he collected New Testaments and other "Messianic propaganda" that had been handed out in the city but that he did not plan or organize a burning. Instead, he said, three teenagers set fire to a pile of New Testaments while he was not present. Once he learned what was going on, he said, he stopped the burning.
I would have to ask, what were they "collecting" them for?

This bit somewhat confounded me:

Quote
His goal was to stop attempts to distribute Christian literature in the city, he said.

Myers, however, said he doubts that Messianic Jewish missionaries distributed the New Testaments. He said it's not clear how the volumes found their way into homes in Or-Yehuda.

Suddenly, homes in Or-Yehuda have been infiltrated by "messianic" literature....?

domilsean:

Christ is Risen!! Indeed He is Risen!!

No they appeared in each home like the tongues of fire appeared on the Apostles at Pentecost. crazy Boy, talk about an Orwellian place to live. Did the guy go door-to-door collecting New Testaments like people collect cans for the poor here? confused

Isn't it ironic that the Jews would do this kind of thing when it was such a short time ago that others were doing this to them?
