We Northeastern Pennsylvania Ukrainians say "Tak".
When I visited Western Ukraine, I never once heard the word "Da".
"Da" is not Ukrainian - it's from that country east of Kievan Rus Ukraine.

That is the word my cousins in Uzhhord use first, then I ask them "don't you mean Tak, or Ajno"?
