I humbly ask for your prayers in helping me discern the will of God. My life has been an endless/countless series of mistakes and now I feel He is giving me yet another chance (and I don't want to blow it again).

Heavenly Father, who love all of us with a love that is beyond our comprehension and Who work all things together for our good, shower Your blessings upon our sister, Aunt B, and enable her to discern Your holy will in faith and in peace. For You are holy forever and ever, amen!

Peace,
Deacon Richard

Aunt B--trust in God. You said your life has been an endless series of mistakes. Not so--it has been an endless series of chances. Think of the paths your took in the past--they apparently weren't what you wanted and needed. So don't look at those choices as mistakes. Look at them as guiding signs for the future. I know you may think it's easy for me to say. I don't know anything about you and you don't know anything about me. But God knows us both. He is not giving you anything you can't handle. You just need to make the best choice. Which is the best choice? Look at your past choices and examine them closely. Which were good ones? Which were bad ones? This time around pick the ones that you think will really help you to be closer to God. That choice will benefit you the most. Which choice will calm you, make your life better? That's what God wants for you. Trust him. Choose the ones that bring you closer to God. You can't go wrong.

How will you know which is the best one? Look at the past choices and be really honest with yourself. Listen to that inner voice we all have. Be honest---is this what you really want? Is this going to make your life better in the long run? Or is it just another shortcut to heartache and pain? Is it repeating something you've already done in the past?

Above all--pray. God will answer. God will help you make the right choice. Give him a chance.

I will pray for you as will many others.

Tim

According to your Word Jesus.
Lord of the Powers be with us, for in times of distress we have no other help but You.
Lord of the Powers, have mercy on Aunt B.
