Here is a link to the biography of Bishop Ceslaus Sipovich (1914-1981), the first Greek Catholic Bishop in the 20th Century. He was an advocate for both the Greek Catholics and for his Belarusan people. I read the print copy, very interesting reading.

Related to this recent appointment, 'Victor (Yuschenko) the Great' is doing all possible to ensure that the righs of Greek Catholics are upheld in Belarus by entering into an agreement with that nations government.
