A small Island, part of the Shetland Islands, has declared itself independent of the British Government, though it retains the Queen as Head of State, and is declaring itself a Crown Dependency.
Of course the Island is only 2.5 Acres, and has only one resident who lives in a Tent, but its still in the news.
