Beloved in Christ,
Tomorrow morning, I'm leaving for Ukraine with a group of Orthodox young adults, to spend about three weeks volunteering at an orphanage for severely disabled children in Central Ukraine. Since I was blessed with the opportunity to have lived there for three months this past fall, I will be leading the team. I would like to ask your prayers for a mission team that I'm leading, for the children, and for myself, that God would bless our time there, keep us safe, and help us to make as much of a difference as possible in the lives of these children.
The Christian names of those traveling are: Mikayla, Thekla, Christina, and myself (Rd. John).
The names of the children are too may to list, but I would ask that you pray especially for Borys, Aleksandra, Anastasia, Tatiana, Aleksei, Ivan, and Maria.
Also, if anyone would like prayers, I will also be traveling to the Kiev Caves Monastery, and then after the mission is finished, I'll be traveling to Mt. Athos, so I would be happy to light a candle for any of you or say a prayer.

Prayers for the safe journey and wonderful work that faces Reader John, Mikayla, Thekla, and Christina
Prayers also for all the little ones, that the Theotokos surround them with the mantle of her protection
