Слава Ісусу Христу!

Pani Rose and griego catolico if I need PR for a campaign I’ll give you a call. If we can get someone in New York to get us a review from the 2 o’clock showing on the 25th it will be like main line news. A premiere! Thanks for taking the liberty. Blessed Andrey bless us all.

The movie is well worth seeing - but is not entirely accurate. Do read the book (Korolevsky-Keleher!).

CHB!
Mykhayl - I wish a few more venues would be added. Unless it makes it to Kansas City, I will likely have to wait for the DVD. I am sure Yevshan and Byzantine Church Supplies will carry it once distributed. I believe the folks at Sts. V&O are having someone prominent with the movie (director or producer as I recall) speak at the Ukrainian Cultural Center at Sts. V&O when it plays in Chicago. Z'Bohom.

There is actually a documentary about the life of Josyp Slipyj titled Patriarch , directed by Oleksander Frolov (who also made an earlier documentary on Servant of God Andrey Sheptytsky). It was financed by parishioners from Ss. Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chicago. I believe one may obtain copies of the documentary from them.

Has anyone ever seen Patriarch ? What did you think of it?

It is quite good; I don't know that it has been transferred to DVD yet. I saw it on VHS a number of years ago when it came out; it was about $25 back then.

The timing of the release is excellent considering the commemoration of Metropolitan Andrey's repose is November 1st. Metropolitan Andrey, pray for us!

I went to see the movie this evening, with a group from church. I enjoyed it, and with the subtitles it was fairly easy to follow.
