Praise Report - a bit odd - I know

Well, we were going to Sam's Club, and I parked right up front too. It was raining, Fr. Deacon Stan saw the oncoming car, but he was at a distance. You know the law of 'two objects can't occupy the same space'. Anyway - I am well - deacon was hit by the car. He was down - hit in his hip, lower back area, - talk about scared, he had to go to the ER, he is resting, but has to go to several doctors tomorrow.

Needless to say, we are upset - but he is resting, and the pain is under control. All I could think is not again Lord. People were so awesome in helping and praying with me right there in front of the store. The kids got there, and took control of things. It was an older gentleman that hit him, so pray for him.

It was raining here pretty good today from FAY, so he was lying on the pavement, in the rain for almost an hour. There was a man walking out when he was hit, and he kind of took over getting everything taken care of - kept me from getting totally stressed too. There were so many accidents - the ambulance that picked him up was actually one from about 25 miles away. The police said they were all over the place - Ann's boyfriend said there were three wrecks between where he worked and getting to where we were, about ten miles.

Anyway, he is resting at home, and we will see. He has to see two doctors tomorrow, plus dialysis. I hope no damage was done to his kidneys, as he has steadily been regaining function and increase. God is good!

Oh, no! Many hugs to you, dear sister!

O Most Holy Theotokos, spread your mantle of comfort over Pani Rose; give her the strength and peace of heart to help her husband heal and recover. Lord Jesus Christ, Lover of Mankind, stretch out your healing hand to Fr. Deacon Stan. Ease his every pain and grant him a swift and full recovery.

Y'all how good our God is. I forgot to add, he had been exercising over at Trinity and we stopped to pray with the woman that manages it, the prayer was actually for him. Now come on, you know, what can I say. I am still amazed at that one. God goes before us and makes the way. I don't understand the suffering at all. I watch what you write Jacub, and what Alicia goes through, it is just mind boggeling to me. Yet, somehow we know it is in God's love. AMAZING!

Dearest Pani Rose,

My prayers that our Lord will heal Deacon Stan quickly and that there will be no long term effect, after all he has been through...

My first thought upon reading this was that Father Deacon Stan and you are doing something very, very good for the Lord, and that the evil one wants to strike it down...he doesn't bother those who don't threaten his work, you know...so these 'trials and tribulations' are because of the holiness you both have...and as such, do not fear, all will be well, since glory to God, He is watching out for you.

In Christ our Saviour,
Alice

Pani Rose, Just now read this and am so sorry to hear of this accident and what has happened. You are both in our prayers this morning. frown

Holy God,
Holy Mighty One,
Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on them
and on all of us.

Our Father, who art in heaven, please send your good angels to guard, protect, and shield against the assaults of the enemy who uses this to attack them. Keep Deacon Stan and Pani Rose and their family from all harm. Come to their assistance for healing and recovery from this for their sake and for your glory! Help the man who was driving the car to turn to you and be released from anquish. May all involved have peace. Thank you for alerting others to pray for them before and after this incident. Continue to do so. In the Name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen. Sending hugs your way. Mary Jo

Thanks, he seems to be moving a bit easier today, but still in a lot of pain.

3 days after he has been hit by a car and he's still in pain ??

I'm not in the slightest bit surprised .

Prayers continue for you both
