First grade students in San Francisco were treated to a field trip to their teacher's same-sex wedding.

Sure...indoctrinate and impose non-Christian values while they are still young.

Honestly, with everything I see and read daily in our sex obsessed, everything goes culture, I give up.

Well if prop 8 doesn't pass here in California this will be the norm for public schools. Thank The Lord we can send ours to Catholic school. Parents have already been told they can't object in the MA.

What is even scarier are some of the people who comment on these articles and what they have to say.
You will realize more about where we are as a people in these immoral issues from the posts of people under articles than you will from the article itself...and how those who think the 'old fashioned way' on any subject are attacked.
As I said before: 'I just give up'...
Each year, we just keep on getting worse and worse...

And then there are those naive Christians who believe that their children should be sent to the public schools as witnesses.

Oh yeah. Then some wonder why their children out of the blue suddenly declare that they are now homosexuals?

Lord have mercy.

The homeschooling movement in California has been dealt a death blow with the enforcement of anti-homeschooling legislation, so the only legal alternative is to start up a private school, but in this financial crisis, who has the capital to start up a school?

Alice,

There is always hope in Christ. Despair is a sin, yanno. wink

And I agree, this is gross.

EM:

While it might be a hardship, it might be well to consider sending your children to another state with Christian people you know and trust. Something like a boarding school arrangement.

I've got three empty rooms.
