I am looking for music for the Akathist hymn to the Mother of God in english , does anyone have any suggestions where I could find it? I found a ruthenian website that had parts of one but it was incomplete. Book or website either one is fine at this point : )

I'm afraid I have another incomplete site to offer: http://www.melkites.org/en/music%20Akathistos%2001.htm . I've transcribed and recorded some of our Melkite Akathist music in English.

I'll have it complete before Christmas, so that I can get the choir practising!

Holy Transfiguration monastery has the words to the Canon metered to the Byzantine music. That plus the music are available in a little pamphlet. (I have extras, PM if interested).

Also available at:

[note: this is Byzantine Chant, not Prostopinje]
