It's my understanding that the AOC version of the Liturgy of St. Gregory does incorporate most of the reforms that were included in the 1962 Missal (in rubrics, reduction of octaves, calelndar changes) and that the Holy Week rites are those of 1955.

On the other side there are some Tridentine groups (The Society of St. Pius the V) who do use an older version of the Gregorian liturgy missal and even of the breviary (that of St. Pius X).

Am I right? Could you elaborate more on this?

When I was in the library at my University (Ave Maria University) a few days ago, I stumbled across a large Eastern Christianity section. In this section they had the Western-Rite Orthodox Missal. I noticed that it was almost identical to the Latin's Liturgy and they celebrated "The Conception of Mary" on the 8th of December.

I am a member of the Western Rite parish in Fort Worth. We do kneel on Sundays in accordance with western tradition. I must admit that I'm not sure as to why we do this in light of the canons of Nicaea. This Sunday is our Bishop's visit, so I might try to ask His Grace. We use a Western Calendar for fixed feasts (e.g. Nov. 1 All Saints Day). We do celebrate Easter and the related moveable feasts according to the Orthodox date.
In our parish, we do the Stations of the Cross in Lent and Veneration of the Blessed Sacrament during the Maundy Thursday Watch.
