We have the dove in our chapel(but a good problem the chapel has not been used as such in years, since there is not enough room for everyone) and but on the main Altar we have the one like a small cathedral.

It is possible that many of these side tabernacles were in imitation of the Latins. But anytime that I have seen one including in my own church, the sacred vessels are stored there until the next liturgy.

I would not think the Poskomedia behind the iconostas would be mistaken for a side altar to the side of the high alter, as we often had shrines flanking the iconostas too. Besides the pre-sanctified would never be kept west of the iconostas.

See another Ukrainian Orthodox Church I know of I just saw a little wooden "tabernacle" like structure built onto the altar, no way it was ever the old tabernacle. Is this something that doesn't have a name, do we get to name the structure then
