For those interested the link below contains excerpts from Archbishop Babak's visit to Litmanova, Slovakia, the site of apparitions of Bohorodice, the Mother of God to Greek Catholic children in the early 1990's

My Slovak is very poor, so maybe someone can provide particulars, such as whether the apparations are recognized as authentic by the Greek Catholic Church.

This link

is footage from one of the apparitions.

I do not read or speak Slovak, but based on the video and pictures that I have seen, it looks most likely that the apparations have been approved. This picture certainly implies that they have been:

You will notice the icon seems to include the two visionaries at the feet of the Theotokos.

Here are some links I found from the Archeparchy of Presov website:

These next two are decrees:

The last two links are photoalbums of what looks like the consecration of a chapel where the apparations took place.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the additional links; it appears that the Archbishop consecrated the altar at the chapel.

There is a spring behind the apparition "Hut" whose waters have been the source of miraculous healings.

The english title which the Theotokos called herself was "the Most Pure One"

Dear Paul and others!

No apparition in Litmanova have approval yet. Metropolitan Jan Babjak SJ proclaimed Litmanova as official pilgrimage place of the Archeparchy, nothing more, nothing less. There is no mentioning of any apparition.

Thank you Seminarian Daniel. Can you please provide an English translation of the decree?

Thanks for your post!

S'nama Boh!
