Actually Patriarch Lubomyr (Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church) and Patriarch Philaret (Ukrainian Orthodox Church - Kyiv Patriarchate) also have the green mandyas.
The photographs released for Patriarch Alexis II's funeral are (mostly) quite beautiful. There were some people who would almost certainly have been there, but whom I could not spot in the pictures:
1) a representative of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia;
2) a representative of the Russian Old Ritualist Orthodox Church (with whom the Moscow Patriarchate is not in communion, but Patriarch Alexis II had been active in establishing peaceful relations with them, at least to some degree;
3) Grand Duchess Marie Vladimirovna and her son, Prince George of Russia;

Metropolitan Hilarion of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia was present in Moscow for the Funeral. I'm not sure why the photographs would not show him.
I apologize for the tangent in this thread. I can relate to your experience. One reader in our parish once read that "the body was made for immorality" and I almost fell off my pew. Funny that no one else flinched.
May the Lord bless His servant, Patriarch Alexis, and grant him forgiveness for all that he may have done to offend due to human weakness. May the Lord grant him a favored place at the Table in His Eternal and Everlasting Kingdom.
He didn't concelebrate at the Divine Liturgy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but perhaps this was because of precedence issues (e.g. had Patriarch Bartholomew been a concelebrant, Met. Kyrill would have had to concede the first place to him -- something that might not have been considered appropriate given the occasion.)

4) the Papal Nuncio.
Fr. Serge
From ZENIT:
Quote
Papal delgation to attend funeral of Alexy II
x x x The members of the high-level delegation will be Cardinal Walter Kasper, president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, Cardinal Roger Etchegaray, retired president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace and Pontifical Council Cor Unum, Archbishop Antonio Mennini, the Holy See's representative [Apostolic Nuncio] to the Russian Federation, Jesuit Father Milan Zust, an official of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, and Monsignor Ante Jozif, secretary of the nunciature in Moscow. x x x
The Nuncio should have been there because he is in situ.
But, probably, he was literally and figuratively overshadowed by Cardinal Kasper, the President of the PCPCU, and Cardinal Etchegaray, the President Emeritus of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace and Pontifical Council Cor Unum.

See this:
Met. Hilarion is visible at 1:29 and the following few seconds. I think I saw Archbishop Mark of Berlin too.
