Please offer a prayer for my friend, David. I just learned last evening that he is in third stage lung cancer. I'm told he must have a feeding tube inserted because he cannot swallow, due to a large growth on his neck that is partially internal. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight and is extremely frail. He's in his early 60s and was a big, robust man until quite recently.

Lord, if it be Your Holy Will, heal your serant that he may return to his family in peace to serve You again. And if it be Your Holy Will, grant him relief and a holy translation into the Mansions of the Just. Comfort his family, especially his wife, Betsy, in this time of trial and suffering. Keep Betsy, their children, and David close to You always. Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, hear our prayers. AMEN.

Prayers for David and his family, that he be saved from pain and suffering, and that - when his time comes - that the Lord receive him into His loving embrace.
