A prayer, if you would, for our parish St. Basil the Great in Irving (Dallas), TX.

It has been without a priest for a year in a few days. So far it has been served by a mix of retired and active priests willing to drive over 300 miles to celebrate the liturgy on Sunday, but word has come that this rotation will not go on much longer. As it is there is no one to catechize those who want to enter the Church, those scheduled to be married are receiving spotty if any preparation, and weekday services of any kind are non-existent.

This is a sad state of affairs as we were once a very successful evangelical parish with many new converts.

Prayers that St Basil's be restored to the fullness of its pastoral service and be gifted with a presbyter to lead its families in their life of prayer and the service of the Mysteries

AMEN!

Lord raise up deacons to serve this parish from within, until the priest situation is resolved, all for your honor and glory Jesus. Amen.

Lord, raise up deacons AND priests from this parish!

The fields are ripe and ready for the harvest. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers, and, once called, to have them ORDAINED and sent to serve!
