I had received the schedule for reading The Ladder of Divine Ascent from Anhelyna (thanks, by the way!) but I have the Classics of Western Spirituality version and it is not separated into Chapter and Verse.

Between Steps 26 and 27 is a section which is titled A Brief Summary of All the Preceding Steps. Do I read that tomorrow after the 26th Step or on Friday before the 27th Step?

The summary shows up as "26a" on the lectionary for the Ladder and is thus read on the sixth Monday as is the first part of Step 27.

Thank you very much, Father Deacon. cool

I am reading one step per day in March, because, as I wrote above, I don't have mine separated into Chapter and Verse.

Dr. Eric:

This same lectionary is posted "sticky" at the top of this section.

Thanks for posting that,Theophan. I didn`t notice the sticky. I have the same version as Dr Eric and I also figured reading step at a time would be the best way.

Isn't the "sticky" version the same one as the one Dr. Eric linked to?

The lectionary must fit to some other version. I only have each step in a block of x amount of pages. There are no Chapters and Verses, just steps. I have the Classics of Western Spirituality version.

The "lectionary" is keyed to the older Holy Transfiguration edition which contains the verse convention, and not the Classics edition. Perhaps next year if there is interest I can take the handwritten transposed lectionary order I came up with for myself using the Classics text which is much more readily available and make an electronic version. I personally prefer the translation of the Classics series overall, my only complaint being it lacks the verse notation.

I have the HB 1991 revised edition from HTM, though I'm not reading it this Lent...
