I guess the Easter Bazaar Season has opened in earnest. We had ours last Sunday after the liturgy.
Here is a newspaper article about Pysany Sales:

Celebrate Easter in Pittsburgh with Ukrainian 'pysanky'
March 29, 8:52 PM

Last spring, my family and I were lucky enough to get to St. Peter & St. Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Carnegie, PA to celebrate Easter with Pysanky Eggs. We came home with two wooden eggs for the boys (safe to handle) and several fragile beauties for ourselves and for gifts. There is even a table for older children to try their hand
at creating their own eggs.

This year marks the 43rd Annual event and there will be 1,200 Pysanky (Easter Eggs) and over 300 specialty eggs. These hand-crafted items come from Ukraine & Eastern Europe. In addition there are nice basket raffles and door prizes. The food was decent but it was crowded so it was a little tricky to find a seat. Eggs and crafts can be purchased with credit cards, but you'll need cash for the food. The sale is on Sunday only from will take place on 11:00 am till 4:00 pm, at Sts.
Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 220 Mansfield Blvd., Carnegie, PA 15106.

The biggest sale item at our church was the Pasky not the Pysanky.
