Interesting that his itinerary for Western Ukraine is not given.
For example is he going to Lviv to be greet by Archbishop Augustine?

MOSCOW. His Holiness Patriarch Kirill to Visit Kyiv on July 27, this year, on the eve of commemoration day of the Holy Prince Vladimir, Equal to the Apostles

On March 30, His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr met with His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

The Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church handed over to His Holiness the official invitation to make an archpastoral visit to Kyiv in a convenient time for him, this invitation was approved at the session of the Holy Synod of March 25, 2009 (Journal No. 01).

During the talks it was decided that His Holiness Patriarch Kirill would visit the capital of Ukraine on July 27, on the eve of the commemoration day of the Holy and Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir.
On July 28 His Holiness Patriarch Kirill will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Lyiv Caves Monastery (the Holy Dormition Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra). Alongside with Kyiv, he is going to visit Donbass, Crimea and West Ukraine. The visit wil last 10 days.

Well, if he even pauses in L'vov one would expect him to meet with Kyr Augustine. But whom else will the Patriarch meet?

Come to think of it, despite assurances given in 1946, during the Soviet era no reigning Patriarch of Moscow ever visited Western Ukraine.

Had not realized that Archbishop Panteleimon (Rudyk) had been nominal Archbishop of Kyiv early on in World War II. Interesting.

Don't know if His Holiness will be in L'vov, but I do know that Vladyka Augustine is a wonderful person.

Moscow Patriarch To Visit Ukraine; Politics Not to be Discussed
02.04.2009, [11:46] // UOC-MP //

MOSCOW-KYIV —Deputy Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Administration Yurii Bohutskyi met with Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) to discuss the latter’s archpastoral visit to Ukraine. RISU’s Ukrainian-language site posted this story on 1 April 2009.

“The visit is to be pastoral in character, though meetings with scholars are also planned. His holiness stressed that he does not want any politics to be part of his visit by any means,” stressed Bohutskyi, adding that the visit will be made before the presidential elections.
According to the UNIAN information agency, after visiting Kyiv on 27 July, Patriarch Kirill plans to visit Khersones, the Sviatohirskyi Monastery in Donetsk (eastern Ukraine), and the Monastery of the Holy Assumption in Pochayiv (western Ukraine).

The deputy head of the presidential administration noted that the visit of ROC patriarch is of great importance for Ukraine as it will be the first foreign visit of the patriarch.
