Xristos anesti! Xristos voskrese! Christ is risen!

This week I have the parish Pilgrim Icon for Vocations in my icon corner and will be praying for vocations.

When I started contemplating as part of my preparation, I thought about the oft-lamented "lack of priests and other religious" and "lack of proper formation in families".

Well, due to the blessed, holy, triumphant, and joyful time we are in, I believe it was Christ who encouraged me to remember:

"If He conquered death in death, then surely He will raise up holy and deep desires in the hearts of men and women to fulfill vocational callings."

Quality before quantity, right?

I, a sinner, seek to help intercede for this holy cause.

I ask that you all remember to keep this intention in your prayers, if but one time this Bright Week (Holy Week, if you're in the Julian calendar).

Your brother and friend in Jesus Christ,

Ben
