Prayers urgently requested for Michael, who has once again
attempted suicide, and is in danger of his life. If he
survives, he is threatened with brain and liver damage. Prayers
also for his adopted mother, Dot.

Update: Michael is out of danger of his life. The question
now is how much brain damage he has sustained (and he has
had CP since childhood).Nothing more will be known at least
until tomorrow morning.

I am including both Michael and Dot in my morning prayers later today and now pray:
Lord, come to their help.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, give healing and strength to both.

Thanks you, Porter and all who have prayed for Michael.
The neurologist told Dot today that Michael has suffered
virtually no brain damage. She was initially told that, if he
lived, he might well have severe brain damage.
He is not conscious but is moving about in bed, which he had not
been.
