When Jonah (Book of Jonas) decided not to answer God's call to him and ran away instead of heading to Nineveh God made Jonas life hard!

Some are very blessed as they are able to hear God's voice and follow it...
But what if someone hears God's voice yet refuses to answer the call?

We may put it as Ego vs. God - but I face this question through myself and through others...
Can anyone hit me with something our saints said or a good point I am missing?

Christ is Risen!! Indeed He is Risen!!

I guess I've got to be like Jonah. When God's called and I've decided to head in another direction, He's pursued me--gently--but pursued me. It's a nagging--like a lover who won't take "no" for an answer. I won't sya He's made my life hard. It's more like a gnawing deep inside that says I'm incomplete and I know very well why; it's conscience that whispers that I know I should be doing what that deep call is asking.

So when He calls, my advice is to answer the call.
