I just installed the latest version of the software that powers The Byzantine Forum. There are no new features. This releases fixes some software bugs, and it looks like only some Internet Explorer 8.0 users will notice any changes.
If you encounter any issues with the forum software please post them here. Thanks!

Are you referring to duplicate PM's in your My Stuff > Messages or the e-mail notifications coming after a delay?
Also, see if they continue. If they only happened with the unopened PMs and don't continue it is probably a one time event.

I am a computer luddite running Classic Mac OS9 with Netscape 7 browser. Glad to say that I notice no differences and no difficulties.

hmm
was having a conversation by PM with someone - and they [ e-mail notifications ] were first of all coming in after I had noticed the flashing envelope , and quite a long time after I had actually read them on Byzcath.
Can't give you details I'm afraid - I've emptied my trash folder of read Byzcath e-mails.
I'll see what happens next
