Look around online, particular on E-Bay, for Turkish woven icons. They usually aren't expensive.

Glad to see you posted a link to Matushka Galina's embroidered icons. I had thought of it when Anna first posted her query and then forgot to reply to the thread. Both Father and Matushka (and, most recently, their daughter, as I recollect) have done some beautiful and most reverent pieces.

I believe they are the fruit of non-Christian Turkish industrial looms.
