I have had the chalky ones and the chocolate ones that had real paper around them. I dont think I have seen them for some time now.

Many years ago in our first parish with the children, the priest asked the women's philanthropic group of the parish to think of a nice idea within a limited budget for a hand out at antidoron for Father's Day. (This priest was big on gifts--he initiated giving out chocolate bunnies for the children after the midnight Resurrection Liturgy; adults and children got dyed red Easter eggs). Mothers on Mother's Day usually received a flower, but you couldn't do that for fathers. So the idea of 'chocolate cigars' came up and were given out. They were a great idea except for one thing--any man that didn't eat them right away, but put them in his jacket or shirt pocket, got a melted mess by the time he got home in the warm June weather. So that idea was nixed the next year.
