I was unable to attend the Pittsburgh Archeparchial Spirituality Conference and was curious to hear, especially, how Metropolitan Basil spoke on the topic of "Our Future."

I'm a bit surprised that the conference has received no mention on any of the forums. Was anyone there? Was anything noteworthy said? Has our ruling hierarch pointed the way for us?

Anything???

I pray the silence on the event does not, in fact, speak volumes.

FYI,

The Byzantine Catholic World is doing a two-part story on the Spirituality Conference. Last week's issue was about our history and the next issue will cover the Metroplitan's talk about the future.

Attendance was at capacity, in fact there were people standing for the afternoon session. A central theme throughout all the presentations was "change".
