Dear Friends:
My friend Rich took a turn for the worse today and it is very likely that he will die. He is only 36. His wife is only 33. Their daughter is 2 1/2 and their son less than 1. Please pray for Rich, for his wife Katherine, his children Anna Maria and Theodore, for his parents, his sister, his grandparents, and his many friends.

Thanks be to God, Rich did show some improvement today. I saw him Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. He seemed better when I saw him earlier today than on any of the previous visits I had made. He was awake during part of the time I was there. I talked to him briefly and though he cannot talk because of the breathing tube, he seemed to understand and attempted to respond through hand gestures. Please continue to pray.
