On Monday I head down to London and from there I'm meeting a good friend , and heading off for a short break .

The aim is to have some peace and quiet , a chance to reflect and start healing.

Please may I be very selfish, and ask you to keep me in your prayers at this time ?

Dearest Anhelyna,

You are not being selfish at all...

I pray to our blessed Lady that she will guide your steps, protect your way, and console your soul...

Have a safe and peaceful trip with your friend...

With love in Christ,
Alice smile

Go with God!

Have a blessed time of healing and renewal by the Holy Spirit, through the prayers of the Most Holy Theotokos, St. Joseph, and all you angels and saints.

Anhelyna--

Prayers for you as you begin healing.

There's a hymn we sang as Mass last week, which you may know, which speaks to your time away. It is my prayer for you.

"O Sabbath rest by Galilee! O calm of hills above, where Jesus knelt to share with thee the silence of eternity, interpreted by love." vs 3

"Drop thy still dews of quietness, till all our strivings cease, take from our souls the strain and stress and let our ordered lives confess, the beauty of thy peace." vs 4

Bumping this up so we all remember to hold our dear Anhelyna in our prayers.

May the angels protect you on your travels, and may the Most Holy Theotokos spread her mantle of comfort over you, drawing you ever closer to the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I heard a great sermon about retreating and resting which Our Lord did many times in his life and promoted it.

You cannot fight a battle all the time.

You cannot work to exhaustion and be more effective over the long haul without rest in between!
