We have a new priest at our Ruthenian parish. Although he doesn't officially start until September, he was concelebrating the Divine Liturgy today and his family was present. His wife is a Latin Rite American. His oldest child was Baptized at our parish, and I assume his others were Baptized at his church in Slovakia. His young children did not receive Communion and it caused me to wonder if infant Communion is not the norm in Slovakia. I'll probably ask his wife the next time I see her, but I was wondering if someone here could shed some light.
