Glory to Jesus Christ!

For those that may be interested, EWTN is scheduled to show "Sacred Craft" on Saturday, Aug 1 at 5 PM Eastern & on Sunday, Aug 2 at 2 AM Eastern. The show is 1 1/2 hours long.

The description is "Father Brendan McAnerny explores the theology of icons in this engaging study of Eastern Church Iconography, examining the distinct traits of this ancient and unique art".

I saw a short promo of the show, and it seemed the priest covered the subject well. It would be interesting to see comments from this forum on how authentic their show on icons came across.

This is a repeat of a show that aired back in June, if I remember correctly. There is a thread here somewhere on the topic. I believe those who saw the original presentation thought it was quite good. Father Breandan is a bi-ritual Dominican who serves at the Melkite parish in Sacramento, CA
