Thank you all for your continued prayers. This has been a tough week because we have been going back and forth with all of the doctors trying to decide what to do about the surgery. One doesn't think putting him under is a good idea with his age and another thinks he will be fine. Right now, I think, we are looking at my grandpa being given and epidural and something to make him a little 'out of it' and then performing the surgery so he won't have to be on a respirator. When we asked my grandpa for his opinion he shrugged and said "Well, I don't care. I'm going to make it through just fine either way." smile

Please keep up the prayers! You are all fabulous!

Thanks for all of your prayers! My grandpa's surgery was today and the doctor said it was a very successful textbook case. He will be in the ICU tonight (because of his age) and should be able to go home in about 5 days. The road to recovery is a long one, but he has a great start.

Please keep praying for my grandpa. He had to have another surgery yesterday because of some torn internal sutures and now he is on a respirator for an undetermined number of days.

Kyrie eleison!

Prayers for our dear Katie's beloved grandfather...that all may heal and that full recovery will be quick...and that the remainder of his years on this earth will be lived out happily, peacefully, and without any suffering of any kind. Amen.

Kyrie Eleison!

In Christ,
Alice

May your grandfather's guardian angel and patron saint intercede to God for a successful surgery and his full recovery.

Katie: Prayers for your grandfather and for you, too. Hebrews 13:5, 6 says, "... I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.
6 So that we may confidently say: The Lord is my helper..."
