For those of you who have not seen my previous prayer requests,
my adopted nephew Michael has been suicidal since he was nine
or ten years old, having been grossly abused in many ways as
a baby and small boy. My sister Dot adopted him when he was
seven. Nothing was then known about the abuse. He is now
in his late twenties.In spite of all these years of psychiatric
help, his condition has deteriorated in recent months so badly
that he has to be kept in a locked ward, and even so, he escaped
last week and harmed himself. He drinks things. This time it
was ammonia. He is not in danger from this last episode.
Since no treatment in the course of almost twenty years has
healed Michael, Dot intends to insist that her medical advisers
seek out new possible methods of treating Michael.
She expects their cooperation. Pray that their efforts may
be fruitful and pray that through the prayers of the Most
Holy Theotokos the Lord will heal Michael's mind.

Perhaps the help needed now, might also be that of the Church's healing.
May the Lord lead Dot to the right people and the right decisions in her desperate search for help for her son...May God bless all of you...
