Could you spare some prayers for my niece and Goddaughter, Alexis? She is in a really tough spot right now. She's almost 16 years old. Her father has cancer and is probably going to die. She hates him and hates her mother for putting up with him all these years. She is a really sad, angry teenager and we recently found out that she's been cutting on herself and has been suicidal. She's also been texting a supposed 21 year old in Florida. I'm afraid that she also might be using drugs. It's a long story, but I don't blame her at all for the place she's in, but I worry about her. She goes to church every week, but has no relationship with God. I think she's afraid to. She's very closed off - "like ice" in her words. She doesn't have many friends and won't talk to anybody. She has been in therapy off and on, but hasn't really made any progress. She won't let people in and certainly not God. Please pray for her healing emotionally and for her softening toward her father before he dies. He is not undeserving of her feelings toward him, but this hatred is eating her alive and I don't want him to die before she resolves it.

My humble prayers for Alexis. May the Lord God heal and remove the oppression which has overcome her.

Have mercy on this teenaged girl dear Lord and deliver her from all harm, grief, anger, and spiritual illness.

Through the intercessions of the holy Theotokos, St. Xenia of Petersburg, and her guardian angel. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Kyrie Eleison. Lord have mercy on Alexis. Kyrie Eleison.

In Christ our Hope,
Alice

Prayers. I am reminded of Exodus 14:13 And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD... and II Chronicles 20:17 ...stand still, and see the victory of the LORD on your behalf...Fear not, and be not dismayed...the LORD will be with you."
Never give up praying for her.
