Bless, Father. Is it only the Hierarchs in Romania or everywhere? What about the Panagia and the cadilla?

What's a Cadilla?

fyi

His Grace Preasfintul John-Michael of Canton does not where a Zucchetto. He wears a klobuk and in informal circumstances a skufia.

The word for "censer" in Slavonic is kadilnitsa. In Romanian, it is cădelniţă. A lack of bells is not a Latinization. Plenty of Russian churches have bell-less censers.

ah, kadilo

Thanks, now I get it.

and I agree with Dave

it's perfectly byzantine to have bell-less kadily or kadilnitsy

I know one Orthodox priest who thinks smells should be smells and bells should be bells

but is the kadilo not Byzantine in design? Is it a Latin thurible?

I suppose the question is are there bells on the Sakkos!

It's nice that he wears the mik-omophor. Many of the UGCC hierarchs have not learnt that yet.
