Please offer your prayers for Michael, who suffers from sarcoma, a form of cancer that affects both bones and soft tissues. So far, his cancer has proved intractable, and doctors are hoping to begin a new, more radical, form of treatment if his body is able to withstand it.

In particular, please ask for the intercession of the Servant of God Miriam Teresa Demjanovich. She was born, baptized and chrismated as a Ruthenian Catholic in Bayonnne, New Jersey in 1901. She entered the convent with the Sisters of Charity of Elizabeth, New Jersey. She professed her vows on her death bed in 1926. The cause for her beatification went to Rome 2005, with the miracle cure of a boy with juvenile macular degeneration. Assuming she is beatified, she will then need one more miracle to be canonized - the first Eastern Catholic saint in North America. Please help to promote Miriam Teresa Demjanovich's cause. I just received word that Michael has been transferred to hospice. Thank you for all your prayers, and please continue to remember him that he may be granted a peaceful, painless and Christian death.

Prayers for Michael in his battle with this insidius and merciless disease and that God spare him suffering.
