Thank you so much for these prayers, dear friends in Christ. They are sustaining me.
On Tuesday I have a special test scheduled by my ENT doctor. It will determine if the problem of my vertigo is due to an inner ear disorder or if, God forbid, further testing is needed for something more serious. If you can remember me on Tuesday, I would appreciate it.

A relative just passed away, and because this test leaves you very dizzy for atleast that day, I had to postpone it in order to be up to attendance at the wake and funeral. The audiologist is only in once a week for that test, so it won't be for another two weeks now. Thank you so much for your prayers, dear friends.

Dear Friends,
I am humbled and grateful for all the prayers said on my behalf (as well as the prayers said on Mt. Athos by the elders my hubbie met while there on his recent pilgrimage and my daily self annointing of the holy oil from the tomb of St. Nektarios the Wonderworker).
As my situation of a strange vertigo gradually worsened over the past few months, I was terribly distraught, but thanks be to God, with the help of prayer and the enlightenment to research my condition and to start supplementing my diet I think that I am now gradually feeling better and more normal. (Coincidentally, this all came on after having undertaken several full fasts for prayer intentions in the summer...)
Also, the ENT took a few tests of which the results makes him believe that I have labyrinthitis, an inner ear disorder brought on by a virus (no cure, but that is why I am supplementing a great deal), but which can often suddenly disappear just as suddenly as it appears. Though I may still schedule an MRI when it is convenient, the doctor does not feel that I need to...
