Thanks for the link, Dave.

Renewed prayers for our friend and brother, as he bravely faces these challenges.

Our brother has been moved to a care facility. He updates at his blog. [centralpennsylvaniaorthodox.wordpress.com] I am sure he appreciates everyone's prayers.

Anyone wanting a snail-mail address at which to send a card to our brother can PM me.

Prayers for the Professor, that his pain be diminished, that his mind be at peace, and that the Lord watch over him.

May our Lord have mercy on the Professor. Amen....

(Perhaps if we might have his first name, many of us can not only pray for him more personally, but give his name to our priests, monastic friends, etc. for prayer at Proskomidi, Akathists, Supplication services, etc...)

In Christ,
Alice

May our Lord have mercy on Clay. Is there an Orthodox saint's name also that he has taken?

Please folks, now that we have his name, pray for him and ask your priests to commemorate his name, if possible. I will do this on Wed. if there is a paraclisis service this week. I will do a prostration for him right now.

Dear DT,

The Byzantine Catholic monastery (Holy Resurrection) has a prayer request box (or it used to; if not, contact by email) on its website.

May Clay's every sin be forgiven him, those done in thought, word, or deed, knowingly or unknowingly, that he be at peace in our Lord Jesus.

When I saw his name I thought of our heavenly Potter, how beautiful are his creations, as he molds the clay into his wonderful image and likeness.

Lord have mercy!

From the entries to his blog, our brother is in increasing pain and discomfort. Please keep him in your prayers.
