May all my brothers and sisters celebrating on the New Calendar have a blessed Christmas and a healthy and joyful New Year!

Christ is born!!
Glorify Him!!

For all my brothers and sisters celebrating the Holy Nativity on the New Calendar, may the Lord bless you each abundantly at His Coming.

For all my brethren still deep in the midst of St. Philip's Fast, may the Lord bless you abundantly as you prepare for His Coming.

Let us give Him glory every day of our lives and be the reflection of His Divine and Uncreated Light to a dark and fallen world so in need of Him by who we are each day.

I was so hungry and tired at the end of Liturgy this evening when we got downstairs I greeted someone with "Christ is risen!" I'll never live that one down. smile

This past week went so quickly I really wanted the Fast/preparation to last longer.

One in Christ, fasting or feasting! -Mary

The Society of St. John Chrysostom-Western Region sent out this, which I hadn't heard before:

"This Christmas night bestowed peace on the whole world;
So let no one threaten;

This is the night of the Most Gentle One – Let no one be cruel;

This is the night of the Humble One - Let no one be proud.

Now is the day of joy - Let us not revenge;

Now is the day of Good Will - Let us not be mean.

In this Day of Peace - Let us not be conquered by anger.

Today the Bountiful impoverished Himself for our sake;
So, rich one, invite the poor to your table.

Today we receive a Gift for which we did not ask;
So let us give alms to those who implore and beg us.

This present Day cast open the heavenly doors to our prayers;
Let us open our door to those who ask our forgiveness.

Today the DIVINE BEING took upon Himself the seal of our humanity,
In order for humanity to be decorated by the Seal of DIVINITY."

St. Isaac the Syrian (d. AD 700)

May all we who long for the reunion of the Apostolic Churches

keep This Day in our heart and lives - every day.

Christ is born! Glorify Him!

CHRIST IS BORN; GLORIFY HIM Born in a manger at CHRISTMAS, as a gift from the FATHER above, an infant whose name was called JESUS brought mankind the gift of GOD'S love. God bless you one and all. May you receive in your heats all the joy and love that you can hold. MERRY CHRISTMAS
